Hubstone is a private household organizer that helps families keep track of their home, finances, calendar, and reminders. This policy explains what information Hubstone collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what is needed to run the service for you and the people in your household.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to enter into Hubstone, which may include your name and email, details about your household members, contacts, important dates, bills, and home information, and, if you enable reminders, the mobile phone numbers of household members who opt in to receive them. We also collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as sign-in activity.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide Hubstone to you: to display and organize the information you save, to authenticate your account, and to send the email and text reminders that you or your household members have opted in to receive. We do not use your information for advertising.
Text message (SMS) program
Household members receive SMS reminders only after opting in within the Hubstone app. Message frequency varies based on the reminders you set up. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never sold. Information is shared only with the service providers that help us operate Hubstone, and only as needed to deliver the messages you have requested.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We rely on a small number of service providers to run Hubstone, including our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and our SMS provider. These providers process your information only to perform services for Hubstone and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Your choices
You can review and edit the information in your Hubstone account at any time, opt out of text reminders by replying STOP, and request that your account and associated data be deleted by contacting us.
